About this six-sided dice wheel

A six-sided dice wheel provides six labeled outcomes with equal starting weights. Each Random-mode spin is independent, so the same number may appear several times in a row. A short sequence does not have to contain each number equally often.

Use this wheel when a single result is enough and you want everyone to see the draw. For several dice or a combined total, use the Dice activity tool. Changing the weights or using No Repeats creates a different game rule from an ordinary independent die roll.

How to use this wheel

  1. Review the 6 starter choices below. Rename, disable or replace any that do not fit.
  2. Keep Random mode to allow repeat winners, or choose No Repeats in Wheel Settings.
  3. Click the wheel to spin. The result saves locally before it appears.
  4. Export results as CSV, or share a link to send someone their own copy.

Customize your odds

Each starter entry has weight 1. Turn on Weights & colors to adjust its chance. An entry’s probability is its weight divided by the total weight of the eligible choices. Learn how weighted odds work.

Changing a color or spin speed does not change the winner. Read the selection rules.

Questions about the six-sided dice wheel

Can the same number appear twice?

Yes. This starter uses Random mode, so previous results do not remove numbers from the next draw.

How can I make a twenty-sided version?

Replace the entries with numbers 1 through 20, or generate that range with the Numbers tool.

Can I roll several dice together?

Open the Dice activity tool for multiple dice and a total. This template produces one selected number per spin.
