About this reading challenge wheel
A reading challenge can expand your choices without prescribing a particular book. This wheel selects a category, leaving you free to choose a title that suits your interests, reading level, and available format.
Use No Repeats to work through different categories over time. Replace any starter that does not fit your library or book club, and keep a separate note of the title you choose. The wheel records categories drawn; it does not track reading progress or completion.
How to use this wheel
- Review the 8 starter choices below. Rename, disable or replace any that do not fit.
- Start a new round to make the choices eligible. Each winner sits out for the rest of the round.
- Click the wheel to spin. The result saves locally before it appears.
- Export results as CSV, or share a link to send someone their own copy.
Customize your odds
Each starter entry has weight 1. Turn on Weights & colors to adjust its chance. An entry’s probability is its weight divided by the total weight of the eligible choices. Learn how weighted odds work.
Changing a color or spin speed does not change the winner. Read the selection rules.

Will it recommend age-appropriate books?
No. It selects a category only. Choose and review specific books yourself.
Can a book club use one challenge each month?
Yes. Draw a category, agree a suitable title together, and keep No Repeats active until your challenge round is complete.
