About this discussion topic wheel
Open questions give a group more room than a quiz with one correct answer. These topics invite examples and reasoning while avoiding requests for sensitive personal details. Adjust the wording to suit the age, purpose, and familiarity of the group.
After a spin, allow quiet thinking time before inviting responses. Ask participants to explain an example or build on a previous idea. Keep the option to pass, and use the wheel to choose the question rather than to force an individual contribution.
How to use this wheel
- Review the 8 starter choices below. Rename, disable or replace any that do not fit.
- Start a new round to make the choices eligible. Each winner sits out for the rest of the round.
- Click the wheel to spin. The result saves locally before it appears.
- Export results as CSV, or share a link to send someone their own copy.
Customize your odds
Each starter entry has weight 1. Turn on Weights & colors to adjust its chance. An entry’s probability is its weight divided by the total weight of the eligible choices. Learn how weighted odds work.
Changing a color or spin speed does not change the winner. Read the selection rules.
