About this what to eat wheel

The what to eat wheel exists because the question is genuinely hard and genuinely unimportant. Eight common options are loaded and ready. Delete the ones you cannot get tonight, add the two places you actually order from, and spin.

For a household that eats together, No Repeats is the better setting. It removes each meal after it wins, so a full round covers a week of dinners without landing on pizza three times. When the round finishes, start a new one and everything becomes eligible again.

The wheel saves to this device as you edit it, so your version is waiting the next time you need it. No account needed. Export or share explicitly to give someone a copy.

How to use this wheel

  1. Review the 8 starter choices below. Rename, disable or replace any that do not fit.
  2. Keep Random mode to allow repeat winners, or choose No Repeats in Wheel Settings.
  3. Click the wheel to spin. The result saves locally before it appears.
  4. Export results as CSV, or share a link to send someone their own copy.

Customize your odds

Each starter entry has weight 1. Turn on Weights & colors to adjust its chance. An entry’s probability is its weight divided by the total weight of the eligible choices. Learn how weighted odds work.

Changing a color or spin speed does not change the winner. Read the selection rules.

Questions about the what to eat wheel

Can I add my own restaurants?

Open the choices list and paste your own, one per line or separated by commas. A spreadsheet column pastes in cleanly too.

How do I avoid getting the same meal twice?

Switch to No Repeats. Each meal is removed from the wheel after it is selected, until you start a new round.

Can I use this for a group?

Yes. Use Present for a fullscreen wheel everyone can see, or share a link so each person gets their own copy to spin.

How many options can I add?

A single wheel holds up to five thousand choices, though twenty to thirty is a comfortable maximum before the labels get small.
